Deleting your Tabbio account is permanent and will remove your profile, SmartCV, and associated data. Here's everything you need to know about the process.

Before You Delete

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following will be permanently removed:

• Profile Information: Name, headline, bio, work experience, education
• SmartCV Data: All CV versions and customizations
• Personal Details: Contact information, preferences, settings
• Messages: All conversations and communications
• Job Applications: History of applications and status
• Company Data: If you own companies, they will be deleted
• Analytics Data: Profile views, download statistics
• AI Generated Content: All AI-enhanced descriptions and outputs

What Happens to Shared Content

• Private Links: All private links will stop working immediately
• Downloaded CVs: Copies already downloaded by others remain with them
• Shared with Employers: Data already shared with employers may be retained by them per their legal obligations
• Messages to Others: Your messages to other users will be anonymized

Data Retention Period

• Immediate: Public profile becomes inaccessible
• 30 Days: Grace period where you can recover your account
• 90 Days: Complete data deletion from our systems
• Legal Requirements: Some minimal records may be retained for legal compliance

Step-by-Step Deletion Process

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Log into your account

   • Use your magic link or Google login
   • Ensure you can access your account successfully

2. Navigate to Account Settings

   • Click your profile picture in the top right
   • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
   • Go to "Account" or "Privacy" section

3. Find Delete Account Option
