Introduction

Welcome to Tabbio, a unified professional platform that provides SmartCVs, career profiles, employer pages, and collaboration tools (the "Services"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between Tabbio ("we," "us," "our") and each person or entity that accesses or uses the Services ("you," "User").

Eligibility; Accounts & Authentication

• You must be at least 16 years old (or older if required by local law) and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. We support Magic Login (one-time link/OTP) and Google sign-in. You must safeguard the email account you use for Magic Login and any linked Google account.
• One personal account per individual; do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

Your Content & License to Tabbio

You retain ownership of the content you submit or upload to the Services (e.g., CVs, profile information, media, posts, messages, job listings) ("User Content").

You grant Tabbio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content solely to operate, provide, secure, improve, and personalize the Services, to comply with law, and as you direct (e.g., sharing via private link or applying to roles).

This license ends when you delete the relevant User Content from the Services, subject to: (i) reasonable backup/archival copies that will expire in the ordinary course, and (ii) copies previously shared with others (including via private links or downloads) that we do not control.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content and use of the Services comply with these Terms and applicable law.

Profile Visibility, Sharing & Private Links

You control who can see your profile and SmartCV:

• Public (contact details hidden by default);
• Private Link (unguessable link you can share/revoke);
• Employers-Only (visible to verified employer accounts);
• Private (hidden).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• break or attempt to break the security, integrity, or availability of the Services (including probing, scanning, scraping, crawling, harvesting, or reverse engineering);
• upload or distribute malware, spyware, or other malicious code;
• impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or submit content you lack rights to share;
• post or send unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content;
• spam, solicit, or send unsolicited advertising or chain messages;
• collect, use, or disclose others' personal information without their consent and a lawful basis;
• interfere with or burden the Services (e.g., excessive traffic, automated queries beyond permitted APIs);
• use the Services to build or train competitive datasets or models, or to create derivative works of our platform, except as allowed by law.

We may investigate and take action (including content removal or account suspension) if we believe your use violates these Terms or poses risk.

Employers, Recruiters & Collaboration

Employer features may require verification. Employers must use candidate data only for legitimate recruiting purposes, in compliance with law, and must delete candidate data they download if the candidate later deletes their account, unless an independent legal basis permits retention.

Collaboration tools (view/suggest/edit) are provided for cooperative CV/profile work; the owner remains responsible for the final published content and for whom they grant access.

AI Features (Gamni API)

At your request, we may process selected content (e.g., CV text, job information) through our AI service provider ("Gamni API") to generate outputs such as résumé drafts or summaries. We require our provider to use your data only to deliver the requested functionality and not to train generalized models on your personal data unless you opt in.

Privacy; Data Handling

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use/share it, security, retention, international transfers, and your rights. By using the Services, you acknowledge our privacy practices as described there.

Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds (if applicable)

Some features may be paid. Prices and features are described at purchase and may change with notice. Taxes may apply.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or in accordance with our posted Refund/Cancellation policy.

You may cancel auto-renewing subscriptions at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property; Platform License

The Services, including software, interfaces, look-and-feel, trademarks, and content we own or license (excluding your User Content), are protected by IP laws.

We grant you a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for professional networking, career development, and recruitment in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Services or any part thereof, except as permitted by law.

Monitoring & Enforcement

We are not obligated to monitor all activity but may do so to keep the Services safe. We may remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report unlawful conduct to authorities where appropriate.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party sites or services. Those are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.

Disclaimers

We do not guarantee job placements, hiring outcomes, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content will be accurate or current. AI outputs are generated content and may be inaccurate; you should verify them before use.

Liability & Risk Terms

Termination; Suspension

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk, or as required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, and we may delete or restrict access to your User Content stored on the Services (subject to legal obligations and our Privacy Policy).

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts in the United Arab Emirates will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services, subject to any mandatory consumer protections under local law.

Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or the law. We will post the new effective date, and for material changes we will provide notice (e.g., email or in-app). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
