The Role As an Accounting Manager / Financial Accountant, you will oversee key accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support strategic financial reporting and compliance. Working closely with finance leadership, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity of financial data, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to continuous process improvement. This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to collaborate with international teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management and financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Manage month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and balance sheet reviews. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with business stakeholders. Coordinate internal and external audit processes and prepare supporting financial documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and organizational performance. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is preferred. Strong understanding of financial accounting, accounting management, and financial reporting principles. Knowledge of general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. Proficiency in financial analysis, management reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully remote working environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.
