How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your Tabbio account and associated app data at any time from this page.

  • Send the request from the email address linked to your Tabbio account to hello@tabbio.com.
  • Use the subject line “Tabbio account and data deletion request”.
  • Include your Tabbio username if you know it. Do not send passwords, OTP codes, identity documents, or payment card details.
In the app: Open Settings and choose Account & Data Deletion. If your installed build does not show that entry yet, use this public web page directly. An in-app request disables account access and revokes active sessions immediately, then remains pending until the wider erasure is verified.

What we delete

After verifying that the request came from the account owner, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with the account, including:

  • account profile details and login identifiers,
  • CV content, uploaded files, and generated career content,
  • job applications, saved searches, auto-apply settings, and matches,
  • messages, notifications, AI memory, and product activity tied to the account,
  • identifiable analytics, diagnostics, and processor records where the provider supports account-level deletion,
  • public profile, company membership, and sharing surfaces where you control the data.
3

What may be retained

Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons.

  • limited billing and tax records required by law,
  • security logs needed to prevent abuse and unauthorized account recreation,
  • records required to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms,
  • content already exported, downloaded, or shared with third parties outside Tabbio, which we cannot recall.
  • search engine snippets or cached copies for Public pages indexed before deletion, because those are controlled by third party search engines.
  • restricted provider-managed backup copies until their ordinary retention schedule expires; these are not used for ordinary product operations.

Where retention is required, we keep only the minimum information needed for that purpose.

4

Timing

We acknowledge deletion requests after receiving them and aim to complete verified account and data deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or an active security investigation.

We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request. This protects your account from unauthorized deletion.

If your account had a Public page, deletion removes or blocks the Tabbio source page and removes its future public-sitemap eligibility. A search engine may still show an outdated result temporarily while its own index refreshes. Search-engine processing time and decisions are outside Tabbio's direct control.

If an outdated Google result remains: Once the Tabbio source page has been removed or changed, you may use Google's Refresh Outdated Content tool. The tool asks Google to refresh its Search result; it does not delete the source page or data from Tabbio. Google handles and decides the request, and a pending request may take a few days.

Data deletion without deleting the account

If you want specific data deleted but want to keep your Tabbio account, email hello@tabbio.com from your account email and describe what you want removed. We will process it where technically and legally possible.
