💼 Chief Accountant 📍 Location: United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time 🌟 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Chief Accountant to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial records. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, supervise the accounting team, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with IFRS , UAE financial regulations, and internal policies. You will play a key role in supporting strategic financial decisions and maintaining strong financial controls. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets 📊 Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and treasury operations Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies Coordinate internal and external audits and provide all required financial documentation Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team while promoting best practices Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls ✅ What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and corporate finance Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines Professional, ethical, and results-driven mindset 🎓 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA , or equivalent are highly preferred Strong knowledge of IFRS , financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks , or similar accounting software Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Previous experience working within multinational organizations or the UAE market is highly preferred 💡 Why Join Us?
