SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Acute Medicine (Western Qualified) on behalf of a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of adult patients presenting with acute medical conditions, ensuring timely intervention and seamless coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent). Western Board Certification in Acute Internal Medicine, Acute Medicine, or General Internal Medicine with Acute Medicine experience (American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification). Minimum 5 years of post-board certification experience as a Consultant in Acute Medicine. Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant License (or currently licensed in the UAE). Strong expertise in managing complex acute medical conditions and medical emergencies. Experience working in Acute Medical Units (AMU), Emergency Departments, or tertiary care hospitals is highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, clinical decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Commitment to evidence-based practice and delivering high-quality patient care. Previous experience in a JCI-accredited or internationally recognized healthcare facility is highly desirable.
