We're Hiring | Consultant Anaesthesiologist 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Anaesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive anaesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities • Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and formulate individualized anaesthesia plans. • Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures. • Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia, ensuring optimal recovery. • Manage acute and chronic pain using evidence-based techniques. • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation. • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, intensivists, and nursing teams to deliver multidisciplinary patient care. • Supervise junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals where applicable. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education. • Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and international clinical standards.
Requirements Qualifications • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesiology (MD, DNB, Arab Board, FRCA, FANZCA, American Board, or equivalent). • Eligibility for Consultant registration with the relevant UAE health authority (DOH/DHA/MOH) or a valid UAE Consultant license. • Fellowship or board certification from a recognized international body is preferred.
