Engineer – Civil Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Civil Engineer – Maintenance to manage and oversee civil maintenance activities across residential and commercial properties, with a strong focus on villa maintenance and refurbishment works. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, capable of supervising site teams, handling client coordination, and ensuring all civil works are executed efficiently and to high-quality standards. A valid UAE driving license is preferred. Role Purpose The Civil Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for leading all civil and structural maintenance activities, ensuring work quality, proper planning, and timely execution. The role supports overall operations by strengthening technical supervision, improving site discipline, and enhancing service delivery standards. Key Responsibilities Operational & Technical Management Oversee day-to-day civil maintenance activities, including masonry, tiling, waterproofing, painting, and minor structural repairs. Conduct site inspections and identify defects such as cracks, leakages, and structural issues. Provide technical solutions and guidance to site teams for civil-related works. Ensure all work is carried out as per company standards and client requirements. Team Supervision & Coordination Supervise and guide masons, painters, carpenters, and general labour teams. Coordinate with Facility Coordinators and other engineers for smooth workflow. Monitor daily job allocation and completion status. Conduct regular site visits and support teams in resolving on-site challenges. Quality & Resource Management Ensure quality of work and minimize rework through proper supervision. Review and approve material requests for civil works. Monitor material usage and prevent wastage or misuse. Maintain proper site documentation, including reports and progress updates. Client Coordination & Reporting Communicate with clients regarding civil maintenance issues and updates. Provide clear explanations of site conditions and proposed solutions. Prepare inspection reports, support quotations, and completion reports. Safety & Compliance Ensure all civil works comply with safety standards and regulations. Enforce PPE usage and safe working practices on-site. Identify and report any safety risks or hazards immediately. Requirements & Qualifications · Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. · Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in maintenance or villa refurbishment works. · Strong knowledge of civil maintenance works, including waterproofing, tiling, and finishing. · Good communication and coordination skills. · Ability to manage site teams and meet deadlines. · UAE driving license preferred. Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour Experience: villa maintenance and refurbishment works: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: UAE driving license (Required) Work Location: In person
