Junior Android Developer
Role overview
• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin to deliver engaging user experiences. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers, to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in mobile application development. • Participate in the entire app development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and responsiveness. • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development, implementing new features and enhancements as needed. • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in Android application development. • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. • Strong understanding of Android SDK, application architecture, and best practices. • Experience with RESTful APIs for backend integration. • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile environment. • Experience with automated testing and debugging tools is a plus.
