ABOUT THE ROLE A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its gastroenterology and digestive health services and is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Consultant to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and endoscopy infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures according to clinical privileges, training and facility scope. • Manage conditions affecting the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. • Perform and interpret relevant investigations, including endoscopy, colonoscopy and other gastrointestinal diagnostic studies. • Develop individualised treatment plans and provide comprehensive follow-up and continuity of care. • Manage acute gastrointestinal presentations and coordinate appropriate inpatient care when required. • Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nutritionists and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient management. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control and clinical governance standards. • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.

Requirements Applications are welcome from internationally trained Gastroenterology Consultants holding recognised qualifications such as: • American Board of Internal Medicine with recognised Gastroenterology fellowship • UK CCT / MRCP with recognised specialist training in Gastroenterology • European Board / national specialist certification in Gastroenterology • Royal College Certification (Canada) • Australian FRACP • Arab Board • MD / DNB / DM / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Gastroenterology Applications are welcome from candidates across USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, Middle East, Africa and South America, subject to eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
