Accountant- US GAAP

*** Must be based in the UAE *** Salary up to 15,000 AED   We are currently partnering with a growing trading business in Dubai seeking a highly organised and analytical Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience within the Trading, FMCG, Import/Export, or 3PL sectors and possess strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to support a fast-paced operational environment.   Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting Monitor cash flow, reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger activities Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Oversee import/export financial transactions and logistics cost tracking Coordinate with 3PL providers and internal operational teams Assist with audits, compliance, and financial documentation Support senior management with financial insights and reporting Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies Key Requirements Must currently be based in Dubai, UAE 5–7 years of accounting experience within Trading, FMCG, Import/Export, or 3PL industries Strong understanding of import/export operations and supply chain financial processes Experience working with 3PL providers and logistics-related accounting Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), financial due diligence, or business restructuring is highly advantageous Strong analytical and numerical skills with a data-driven mindset Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems Experience in high-volume trading environments preferred   REF: FL V-181777
