A leading tertiary healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking an American Board Certified Consultant Colon & Rectal Surgeon to join its internationally recognized surgical team. This is an outstanding opportunity for highly experienced surgeons seeking to relocate to Dubai and practice in a state-of-the-art hospital offering advanced surgical technology and multidisciplinary care. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and manage benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. • Perform advanced open, laparoscopic, robotic, and minimally invasive colorectal procedures. • Manage colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders, pelvic floor disorders, and complex colorectal conditions. • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists. • Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical intervention, and post-operative care. • Participate in emergency colorectal surgical services as required. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with international quality and patient safety standards. • Contribute to clinical governance, research, teaching, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements • Medical degree (MD or equivalent). • Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency. • Fellowship training in Colon & Rectal Surgery. • American Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery (Mandatory). • Eligible for Consultant licensure with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). • Minimum 3–5 years of post-board Consultant experience preferred. • Expertise in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic colorectal surgery. • Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
