Cardiologist-Senior Consultant- Government Healthcare Facility
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Consultant Cardiologist to join our Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert cardiovascular care, manage complex cardiac conditions, and contribute to clinical leadership, multidisciplinary care, teaching, and quality improvement. The role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases. • Manage complex and acute cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies. • Perform and interpret appropriate cardiac diagnostic procedures, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring. • Perform invasive or interventional cardiac procedures within the physician's approved scope of practice and credentialing. • Manage cardiac
Requirements • MD, MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. • Completion of an accredited Cardiology residency/specialist training program . • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology. • American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Cardiology or equivalent internationally recognized board certification is highly preferred. • AMERICAN BOARD doctors preferred. • Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization/consultant-level experience in Cardiology. • Strong experience in managing complex cardiovascular conditions and cardiac emergencies. • Expertise in cardiac diagnostic procedures, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring . • Interventional cardiology experience is an advantage, where applicable. • Current BLS and ACLS certification . • Excellent clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. • Experience supervising and mentoring junior physicians and residents. • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and evidence-based medicine. • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. • Must meet all applicable UAE licensing and credentialing requirements.
