Key Responsibilities • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex cardiothoracic conditions requiring surgical intervention. • Plan and perform a variety of cardiothoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic procedures. • Utilize minimally invasive and innovative surgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes. • Provide expert consultation and collaborate effectively with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. • Oversee preoperative and postoperative care to ensure safe and effective recovery. • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to UAE healthcare regulations and standards. • Participate in clinical research and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution. • Completion of General Surgery residency and Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship. • Board certification or recognized equivalent in Cardiothoracic Surgery. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, preferably with experience in the Middle East or UAE healthcare sector. • Valid medical license allowing practice in the UAE. • Excellent surgical skills, including proficiency in minimally invasive cardiothoracic procedures. • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities under pressure. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills tailored to diverse patient populations. • Commitment to best practices, patient safety, and continuous education. • Willingness to relocate and immediate availability is preferred.
