Location: Dubai, UAE Project Type: Confidential power generation IPP project Engagement Type: Semi-permanent assignment during warranty period Company Description For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience. Job Description We are looking for a Continuous Performance Testing and Warranty Period Manager to support a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai during the warranty / defects liability period. The role will be on a semi-permanent basis and will focus on plant performance monitoring, warranty obligations, defects tracking, performance testing, reliability issues, corrective actions, and technical follow-up with the EPC Contractor and project stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: · Manage technical follow-up during the warranty / defects liability period. · Monitor plant performance, reliability, availability, and performance guarantee parameters. · Coordinate continuous performance testing, warranty inspections, periodic site visits, and emergency site visits when required. · Review performance test results, operational data, O&M records, defects reports, and corrective action plans. · Track warranty claims, defects, recurring failures, punch list items, and outstanding technical issues. · Coordinate with the client, operator, EPC Contractor, OEMs, and Owner’s Engineer specialists. · Review technical documentation, as-built records, O&M manuals, spare parts lists, and handover documentation. · Prepare warranty reports, performance summaries, risk registers, and technical recommendations. · Support dispute, claims, or technical assessment matters related to performance deficiencies where required.
