Job Description The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems related to landscape projects, including lighting and power distribution. The role ensures all electrical works comply with DEWA regulations, Dubai Municipality standards, and project specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain outdoor electrical systems including landscape lighting, cabling, junction boxes, and control panels. Execute wiring works for irrigation controllers, timers, and automation systems. Install earthing and grounding systems in accordance with project specifications. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layouts. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting networks, panels, and controllers. Identify and troubleshoot faults such as short circuits, voltage drops, and control failures. Repair or replace faulty components including breakers, relays, timers, and cables. Compliance & Authority Requirements Ensure all electrical works comply with DEWA regulations and UAE Electrical Code . Assist in material inspection and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment. Support inspections and approvals by relevant authorities. Site Coordination Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades for smooth execution. Assist in material inspection and ensure proper usage of electrical components. Report progress, issues, and risks to the supervisor. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Follow all safety procedures related to electrical work. Use PPE and ensure safe handling of electrical tools and equipment. Maintain a safe and organized work environment on site. Assist in testing and commissioning of lighting systems, control panels, and irrigation controllers. Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing. Support preparation of snag lists and project handover documentation. Qualifications: Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in UAE, preferably in landscape or outdoor electrical works. Strong knowledge of: Landscape and architectural lighting systems. Control systems. Electrical panels and wiring. Familiarity with DEWA standards is mandatory. Ability to read technical drawings and use electrical testing tools. Basic English required (Arabic is a plus). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong awareness of electrical safety practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
