Ajman University invites applications for a Female Student Activities Supervisor position within the Office of Student Life. This role is responsible for overseeing and advising on a wide range of co-curricular activities and programs, including managing student clubs, student publications, organizing trips, and coordinating cultural and social events. Position Overview:The Student Activities Supervisor enhances student development and engagement through comprehensive activity planning, club management, and event coordination. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Club Management: Provide support and direction to student clubs and club advisors Promote establishment and development of new clubs Maintain appropriate contact with all clubs including advisors Supervise election process for student clubs and student council officers Conduct monthly meetings with club advisors and organize annual orientation Event Planning: Implement annual plan addressing educational, cultural, and social needs Promote, organize, and coordinate campus special events (New Student Orientation, Club Fair, Global Day, National Days, AU Got Talent) Organize trips and coordinate travel arrangements for student-related travel Ensure proper media coverage of student life events and activities Financial & Administrative: Supervise finances and budget of female student clubs Maintain accurate records of all Student Activities events (proposals, budgets, contracts, evaluations) Prepare weekly/monthly reports Conduct assessments and compile data related to student participation and development Publications & Communication: Supervise production of student publications Coordinate and disseminate club-related publications Assist in preparing and editing student flyers, posters, and other materials Communicate with students about events and student life opportunities Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or related field 3-5 years of experience directly related to duties specified Knowledge & Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) Program planning, implementation and evaluation skills Understanding of risk management and safety protocols Problem solving, conflict resolution and mediation skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to develop and implement short- and long-range goals Leadership and motivational skills to inspire student engagement Working Conditions: Office-based and outdoor activity supervision Flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required Physical effort (may involve lifting and carrying equipment) Travel for off-campus activities and events Supervision: Reports to: Director of Student Life Subordinates: None Important Dates: Posting Date: May 8, 2026 Apply Before: August 30, 2026 Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates
