IT System Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. IT Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy aligned with business and project goals. Lead digital transformation initiatives (e.g., construction management systems, automation). Advise senior management on technology investments and innovations.
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management Oversee all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud systems, and on-site project IT setups. Ensure system availability, performance, and scalability across multiple project sites. Manage ERP systems, project management software, and document control systems.
3. Construction Technology Support Implement and support industry-specific tools (e.g., BIM, AutoCAD, project planning software). Ensure seamless connectivity between head office and construction sites. Support digital workflows such as procurement systems, timekeeping, and reporting tools.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance Establish IT security policies and ensure data protection across all platforms. Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
5. IT Operations & Support Manage IT support services for office and site teams. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimal downtime. Oversee hardware/software procurement and inventory management.
6. Vendor & Budget Management Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants. Prepare and control the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Evaluate and procure new technologies based on business needs. Allocate resources effectively across projects and departments.
