Junior Video Editor
Role overview
As a Junior Video Editor, you will support the production and creative teams in crafting cohesive visual stories. You’ll be responsible for selecting and editing footage, syncing audio, applying colour correction, and assembling final cuts. Basic motion graphics or 2D animation may also be required to enhance edits or social content. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Art Director, Creative Director, and production team to understand project goals and timelines. Review raw footage and shot lists to assemble story-driven sequences based on creative briefs. Edit and refine videos, adding music, dialogue, sound effects, and graphics as needed. Apply basic colour correction and ensure consistent visual style across deliverables. Export, organise, and archive final assets following internal workflow standards. Continuously learn and explore new editing techniques and creative approaches to improve efficiency and quality. Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge is a plus) Colour correction and sound editing Strong sense of visual composition and pacing Creative problem-solving and attention to detail Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively Strong communication and collaboration skills Tags: No tags for this post.
