Smart Vision School is seeking a passionate, energetic, and highly motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. About the Role The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Primary and/or Secondary phases, inspiring pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong love of physical activity. You will play a key role in promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing across the school community. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England Develop pupils’ physical skills, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles Foster participation, confidence, and enjoyment in sport and physical activity Organise and lead extracurricular sporting activities, clubs, and school teams Support and coordinate inter-school competitions and sporting events Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and achievement in all lessons Ensure safe practice and effective use of sporting equipment and facilities Contribute to a positive, active, and inclusive school culture The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field Experience teaching PE within a British curriculum school (preferred) A strong passion for sport, fitness, and student development Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice The ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities We Offer A supportive and collaborative school environment Excellent sports facilities and resources Opportunities for professional development and career growth A vibrant and inclusive school community If you are an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about sport and inspiring young people, we would be delighted to receive your application.
