Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: Any Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities * Review project scope of work, schedules, specifications, deliverables, and production requirements. * Prepare scope of work details, task lists, and supporting production planning information. * Review fabrication schedules and suggest practical corrections to the planning team where required. * Check drawings for constructability and identify special items, subcontract needs, or execution constraints. * Review monthly material reports and highlight delivery issues that may affect fabrication progress. * Review material requisitions before orders are placed and verify grade, plate sizing assumptions, and material suitability. * Initiate site queries to support use of available materials and manage substitution requirements where appropriate. * Provide field guidance to production teams and ensure work follows company specifications and project procedures. * Attend production meetings, report concerns, and follow up on actions related to schedule, materials, drawings, and productivity. * Monitor scope changes, production revision orders, and their impact on fabrication activities. * Report weekly fabrication progress and track production manhours, productivity, and work status. * Review 4-week lookahead plans and identify constraints related to materials, drawings, procedures, or subcontract scopes. * Coordinate with construction engineers to ensure required procedures are issued on time and clearly understood by all parties. * Coordinate subcontract scope and support smooth handover of related production activities. * Review as-built drawings and confirm production updates are properly captured. * Coordinate material movements within the yard to support fabrication and erection requirements. * Work with shop planning and erection floor planning teams to maintain alignment with the project plan. * Approve relevant fabrication drawings and review work pack deliverables according to the approved work pack index. Ideal Profile * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant. * Strong understanding of fabrication production processes, yard coordination, and project execution requirements. * Familiar with the content and application of API RP2A, AISC, and AWS. * Able to review drawings, schedules, material reports, work packs, and fabrication deliverables with accuracy. * Good knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to production processes and facilities. * Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with planning, construction, procurement, subcontractors, and production teams. * Able to identify constraints early and support practical solutions to protect schedule, productivity, and quality. * Comfortable working in a structured project environment with changing priorities, deadlines, and multi-discipline interfaces.
