Production Supervisor – Fabrication Workshop

Job Summary: Gilani Mobility Trading Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily operations in our fabrication workshop. The role focuses on supervising production activities, managing shop-floor resources, and ensuring smooth workflow, quality output, and safe working practices. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metal fabrication or assembly environments and strong team leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily production activities and ensure tasks are completed as per schedule Allocate work to welders, fabricators, and assemblers and monitor productivity Inspect production output to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards Monitor workshop stock, including materials, tools, and consumables Handle purchasing of consumables and selected production materials as required Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Production teams Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized workshop Prepare daily production and stock reports Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred) 4–6 years of experience in a fabrication, welding, or assembly workshop Practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, and workshop tools Strong supervision, coordination, and communication skills Ability to manage manpower, workflow, and shop-floor materials effectively Basic knowledge of ISO standards and safety practices is an advantage Application Question(s): Have you supervised technicians or workers on a production shop floor before? Do you have experience monitoring shop-floor stock such as materials, tools, and consumables? Have you handled purchasing of consumables (grinding discs, drill bits, welding rods, PPE, etc.)? Can you read and understand technical drawings (DWG / DXF / fabrication drawings)? Are you familiar with daily production planning and allocating tasks to welders/fabricators?
