  • 01Take and document patients' medical histories.
  • 02Conduct tonometry or tonography tests to measure intraocular pressure.
  • 03Operate ophthalmic equipment, such as autorefractors, phoropters, tomographs, or retinoscopes.
  • 04Take anatomical or functional ocular measurements of the eye or surrounding tissue, such as axial length measurements.
  • 05Measure visual acuity, including near, distance, pinhole, or dynamic visual acuity, using appropriate tests.
  • 06Measure and record lens power, using lensometers.
  • 07Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications.
  • 08Conduct visual field tests to measure field of vision.
  • 09Assist physicians in performing ophthalmic procedures, including surgery.
  • 10Measure corneal curvature with keratometers or ophthalmometers to aid in the diagnosis of conditions, such as astigmatism.
  • 11Conduct ocular motility tests to measure function of eye muscles.
  • 12Clean or sterilize ophthalmic or surgical instruments.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
  • — : Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioscience, Nursing, (or any other scientific related field). Minimum 2
  • — tasking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Team player with ability to perform well under pressure.
