Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. - 01Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine their functional needs.
- 02Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and needs.
- 03Apply therapeutic techniques and interventions to assist patients in improving their ability to perform everyday activities.
- 04Educate patients and their families
- 05/ Accountabilities: Assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive
- 06communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. Assess patient’s communication
- 07operative settings. Provide evidence
- 08based care and follow
- 09: Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the individual needs of students. Collaborate with teachers, LSAs, and the Inclusion team to implement classroom
- 10Test and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
- 11Complete and maintain necessary records.
- 12Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital, institutional, or community settings to help rehabilitate persons with disabilities because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- — Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- — Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Abu Dhabi.
- — 3 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably within a clinical or healthcare setting.
- — DHA or DOH License Required
