Consultant Ophthalmologist (UK CCT-Board Certified) Leading Healthcare

A leading healthcare group in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical management of a wide range of eye conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and diagnose eye conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Perform ophthalmic surgical and medical procedures within the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Manage complex and emergency ophthalmic cases.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
• Interpret relevant ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Work collaboratively with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other medical specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Mentor junior doctors and contribute to teaching and training.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology .
• Consultant-level clinical experience.
• American, Canadian, Australian, Irish Board, CCT/CCST or equivalent preferred.
• Strong experience in a hospital or tertiary ophthalmology setting.
• DHA / DoH / MOHAP licence or eligibility preferred.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and patient-management skills.
