Full Stack Engineer (AI-first)

Pixaera · Amman, Amman Governorate, Jordan
WorkableApply on company site
Onsite

Role overview

Pixaera is building the operating system for safe work: the system frontline workers and the people responsible for them use every day. Customers feed in an incident, a near miss or a procedure change; our AI-first pipeline turns it into engaging communication that reaches the crew doing that job straight away; and we hold the record of what each worker is ready for and has done safely. More than 50 enterprise customers across energy, construction and heavy industry use it, including Google, BP and GE Vernova.

Why this role exists At Pixaera, small groups own one outcome each and stay with it until it lands, rather than shipping a feature and moving on. We need an engineer who can take an idea from a whiteboard to production without handoffs, and stay with it until customers get the value. Your first focus is our self-serve trial: the journey from sign-up to a team getting real value without talking to sales.

What you'll do

  • Build and iterate the trial and onboarding journey end to end: UI, API, data, deploy.
  • Own a number (for example trial-to-paid conversion) and ship weekly to move it, working with marketing and delivery leads.
  • Ship across the whole codebase through normal PRs, front and back.
  • Help teammates get more out of AI tools by pairing with them.

The hard parts We move fast and change direction when customers teach us something. Some of the codebase has strong owners, and part of this role is shipping into areas that haven't always taken outside PRs.

Location Full-time in Jordan, working with teams in the UK and elsewhere, with UK-hours overlap for pod work. Our process A 30-minute screen, a 90-minute live build using your own AI setup (brief sent the day before), a 45-minute walk-through of something you've shipped, and 30 minutes with our CEO. About two to three weeks from application to offer, and you'll always know when you'll next hear from us. How to apply Send your CV plus a short note on how you use AI to build, ideally with a link to something you shipped.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • You build with AI every day. Claude Code, Cursor or a similar agentic tool is how you work, and you'll show us live in the interview.
  • You've shipped production features across frontend, APIs and a relational database on your own.
  • You've owned a user journey or metric, not just a ticket queue.
  • You ship small and often, and know where care matters (auth, permissions, data).

You don't need to know our stack, PLG tooling or the safety industry. We'll teach those.

Benefits

How do we support and benefit our employees:

  • Competitive salary and stock options — everyone shares in what we're building
  • 25 days holiday + public holidays
  • Fully equipped setup from day one (no waiting for laptops)
  • Regular company offsites and team socials
  • A flat, transparent culture with direct access to leadership

At Pixaera, we're committed to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. We believe that diverse perspectives fuel creativity and innovation, which is why we celebrate individuality and foster an environment of inclusion and belonging. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer — discrimination of any kind has no place here. No matter your background, identity, or lived experience, you're welcome at Pixaera.
