LabVantage LIMS Consultant / Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced LabVantage LIMS Consultant/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LabVantage LIMS 8.x or higher , laboratory system integrations, workflow development, and regulatory-compliant solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environments. This role involves configuring, customizing, supporting, and enhancing LabVantage LIMS while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and maintain LabVantage LIMS to support business and laboratory operations.
• Design and develop LabVantage workflows, specifications, and business processes.
• Build and support laboratory instrument integrations and external interfaces, including ELN and third-party systems.
• Perform data migration, system configuration, and application enhancements.
• Develop and execute test scripts and validation documentation following SDLC and CSV methodologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to laboratory users.
• Conduct end-user training and prepare support documentation.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS 8.x or higher .
• Strong understanding of LabVantage architecture, modules, administration, and configuration tools.
• Experience with laboratory instrument integration and ELN interfaces.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, SQL, and JavaScript .
• Experience with data migration, system validation, and testing activities.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing laboratory environments.
• Understanding of laboratory workflows and quality processes.
• Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and web services.
• Experience supporting regulated environments and validation projects.
