Role overview

Purpose of the Role The Operations Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and coordinating daily airport operations to ensure specialized operational equipment and related services are available at all times to support airline and customer requirements. The role also oversees aircraft exterior service activities, equipment deployment, inventory control, and coordination with technical teams to maintain high operational performance and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the safe deployment of specialized airport equipment in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Conduct operational briefings with team members before each deployment.
  • Ensure full compliance with airline operational procedures, airport regulations, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure equipment availability and operational readiness.
  • Monitor planned and unplanned equipment downtime and communicate operational impacts.
  • Perform and verify daily operational inspections, safety checks, and pre-use equipment inspections.
  • Track daily equipment utilization and operational performance across customer airlines.
  • Coordinate daily operational schedules to ensure timely completion of aircraft service activities.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of operational consumables and materials.
  • Prepare and submit daily operational reports, equipment utilization reports, and shift summaries.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure all operational activities are properly documented in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in airport operations, airline operations, ground handling, or aviation support services.
  • Previous experience with specialized airport equipment or Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft ground servicing or aircraft exterior service operations is an advantage.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Preferred age: 24–28 years .

  • Knowledge of airside driving requirements and ramp operations.
  • Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems).
  • Ability to work independently and make operational decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
