Role overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PDR Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing vehicle dents, dings, and hail damage using specialized paintless dent repair tools and techniques, while maintaining the vehicle’s original factory finish.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality paintless dent repair (PDR) on customer vehicles, including small dents, dings, and hail damage.
- Inspect and assess damage to determine appropriate repair methods.
- Use specialized PDR tools to access and remove dents without affecting paintwork.
- Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards for safety and quality.
- Communicate with service advisors, estimators, and customers regarding repair status and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and care for company tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and workplace procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to overall team success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of PDR tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification or formal training in PDR is a plus.
Skills Required:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Automotive repair shop / collision center environment.
- Requires standing, bending, and working with tools for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
