Senior Fashion Designer & Product Development

Talent 360 is hiring for one of our clients a Senior Fashion Designer & Product Development professional to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced and innovative fashion designer with a strong background in product development. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of fashion collections, ensuring creative excellence and commercial viability throughout the product lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Senior Fashion Designer & Product Development specialist, you will drive the creative direction of collections, manage product development processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality fashion products. You will mentor junior designers and play a key role in shaping the brand’s aesthetic and market position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative design and development of seasonal apparel collections aligned with brand vision and market trends.

• Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to final production.

• Conduct in-depth trend research and market analysis to inform design decisions and product strategies.

• Create detailed sketches, tech packs, mood boards, and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.

• Oversee sample development, fittings, and revisions, ensuring fit, quality, and aesthetic standards are met.

• Mentor and guide junior designers to foster creativity and skill development within the team.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, fabrics, and manufacturing technologies.

• Support brand growth initiatives with innovative product ideas and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in fashion design and product development.
• Proven leadership experience in managing design teams and product development processes.
• Strong proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
• Extensive knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit, and manufacturing procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret trends and translate them into commercially successful products.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior design staff effectively.
• Previous experience in the fashion industry is required.
