Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join our Engineering team at Moyasar and help us build and improve our digital payment products and services. You’ll work across the stack using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq, building reliable solutions used by businesses and merchants to accept and manage payments. We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond the code someone who understands the business problem, helps shape the solution, and takes ownership from idea to delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve full-stack features for Moyasar’s payment products and merchant services.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and user-facing web features.
• Build reliable integrations that support our payment ecosystem.
• Understand merchant and business needs and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features from problem definition through development and production.
• Work with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
• Improve the performance, reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
• Review code and support other engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve our products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and REST APIs.
• Experience building user-facing web products.
• Strong product mindset and ownership.
• Good understanding of testing, performance, and scalable system design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in fintech, digital payments, or financial services is a strong plus.
