A reputed healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Periodontist (Western Qualified) to join its multidisciplinary dental team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive periodontal care, including the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the supporting structures of the teeth. The Specialist will also perform advanced periodontal surgical procedures, dental implant therapy, and regenerative treatments while delivering patient-centered care in accordance with international clinical standards and UAE healthcare regulations. The role involves close collaboration with prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, restorative dentists, and dental hygienists to achieve optimal oral health outcomes.

Requirements

Conduct comprehensive periodontal examinations, including assessment of periodontal and peri-implant tissues. Diagnose and manage gingival and periodontal diseases of varying complexity. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, radiographic assessment, and patient needs. Perform non-surgical periodontal procedures, including scaling, root surface debridement, and periodontal maintenance. Undertake advanced periodontal surgical procedures where clinically indicated. Provide periodontal management for patients undergoing restorative, prosthodontic, orthodontic, and implant treatment. Perform soft-tissue procedures and periodontal regenerative procedures within the scope of training and clinical competence. Assess and manage peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis. Work closely with general dentists, implantologists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Monitor treatment outcomes and provide appropriate long-term periodontal maintenance programs. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with hospital policies and UAE regulatory requirements. Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal disease prevention, treatment options, and post-treatment care. Obtain appropriate informed consent before procedures and explain potential risks, benefits, and alternatives. Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control and comply with hospital clinical protocols. Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development activities. Stay updated with current evidence-based developments in Periodontology and implant-related periodontal care.
