Job Overview
Ambassador International Academy (AIA) Mankhool is seeking an outstanding and energetic Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join our growing IB World School community from August 2027. We are looking for an inspirational educator who is passionate about sport, physical literacy, health, wellbeing, and student development. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to healthy living through high-quality physical education and sporting opportunities. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of excellence, participation, and wellbeing while contributing to the wider life of our vibrant and inclusive school community. The Successful Candidate Will: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field together with a recognised teaching qualification (B. Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent). Have a minimum of two years' teaching experience in a similar role. Demonstrate outstanding classroom and practical teaching practices. Have experience teaching PE across Middle and Secondary School. Be passionate about developing student participation, performance, wellbeing, and personal growth through sport. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be enthusiastic about leading extracurricular sports programmes, fixtures, competitions, and school events. Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Be reflective, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional learning. Experience teaching within the IB framework would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Student Learning and Development Deliver engaging and challenging Physical Education lessons that inspire a love of sport and physical activity. Promote fitness, wellbeing, teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyles. Support students in achieving their personal best while developing confidence and resilience. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every learner feels valued and supported. Co-Curricular and Sports Programme Lead and support a wide range of sports teams, clubs, and enrichment activities. Organise and participate in inter-school competitions, tournaments, and sporting events. Contribute to Sports Day, House Competitions, community events, and wellbeing initiatives. Encourage broad student participation while nurturing sporting excellence. School Community Actively contribute to the school's co-curricular programme and wider community events. Build positive and productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Support the school's commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development. Collaborate with colleagues to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
