ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its brain, spine, neurotrauma and advanced neurosurgical services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurosurgeon to join its growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population. ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and manage cranial, spinal, neurovascular, neuro-oncology and neurotrauma cases according to expertise.
- Perform neurosurgical procedures with safe patient selection, consent and perioperative planning.
- Coordinate care with neurology, ICU, radiology, oncology, rehabilitation and emergency teams.
- Manage acute neurological deterioration, postoperative care, complications and long-term follow-up.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, tumour boards and trauma pathways.
- Support surgical governance, infection control, audit and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements

- American Board of Neurological Surgery
- UK CCT / FRCS Neurosurgery
- European Board / national neurosurgery specialist certification
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRACS
- Arab Board
- MCh / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
