Senior Network Security Engineer

Develop and oversee the implementation of information security procedures and policies. In the GCC market, this role is actively hired across qatar, saudi, uae with 22 recent postings.

  • 01Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD‑WAN environments.
  • 02Manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network appliances.
  • 03Monitor network performance and troubleshoot latency, outages, and connectivity issues.
  • 04Implement QoS, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and VLAN segmentation.
  • 05Maintain IP addressing schemes, DNS, DHCP, and network documentation.
  • 06Security Operations:
  • 07Configure and manage firewalls (NGFW), IPS/IDS, WAF, and security gateways.
  • 08Implement and maintain network security policies, access controls, and segmentation.
  • 09Monitor security events and respond to incidents in coordination with SOC teams.
  • 10Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
  • 11Ensure compliance with NCA, ISO 27001, and organizational security standards.
  • 12Infrastructure Projects:

  • — & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Strong hands

  • — DSS. Experience with SIEM solutions, intrusion prevention systems, and other security tools. Strong analytical and problem
  • — solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • — Preferred Certifications:
  • — Fortinet: NSE 4 (highly preferred), NSE 5/6/7 (advantage)
