Travel Consultant

المهام الرئيسية
  • 01Handle domestic and international air ticket reservations, reissues, and cancellations.
  • 02Coordinate with airlines to secure best fares and routes.
  • 03Provide accurate information on flight schedules, fare rules, and travel
  • 04Collect payment for transportation and accommodations from customer.
  • 05Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers.
  • 06Converse with customer to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
  • 07Compute cost of travel and accommodations, using calculator, computer, carrier tariff books, and hotel rate books, or quote package tour's costs.
  • 08Record and maintain information on clients, vendors, and travel packages.
  • 09Book transportation and hotel reservations, using computer or telephone.
  • 10Print or request transportation carrier tickets, using computer printer system or system link to travel carrier.
  • 11Provide customer with brochures and publications containing travel information, such as local customs, points of interest, or foreign country regulations.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
  • — Ensure timely issuance of tickets and maintain high standards of customer service. Skills Ideal Skill Sets:
  • — Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with an IATA Travel Agency.
  • — Sound knowledge of fare construction, reissues and refunds.
  • — GDS experience required
  • — Amadeus/Galileo.
  • — Hands on experience on NDC systems.
  • — IATA Certification.
  • — Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
