About the Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its histopathology, cytopathology, laboratory medicine and diagnostic governance services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist to join its growing clinical team. The role offers internationally trained clinicians the opportunity to work in a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment with strong clinical exposure and a diverse international patient population.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report surgical pathology, cytology and clinical pathology cases according to training and clinical privileges.
  • Provide accurate diagnostic interpretation, correlation with clinical findings and timely reporting.
  • Support frozen sections, tumour boards, quality assurance and laboratory accreditation requirements.
  • Oversee specimen handling, laboratory processes, critical value communication and diagnostic safety.
  • Collaborate with clinicians across oncology, surgery, radiology, internal medicine and laboratory teams.
  • Participate in clinical audits, SOP development, proficiency testing and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • American Board of Pathology - AP/CP
  • UK CCT / FRCPath
  • European or recognised national specialist pathology registration
  • Royal College Certification (Canada)
  • Australian FRCPA
  • Arab Board
  • MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
