ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its neonatal and newborn intensive care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary neonatal care environment supported by experienced consultants, neonatology nurses, respiratory therapists, allied health professionals and modern neonatal intensive care infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide consultant-level care for premature, critically ill and high-risk newborns.
- Manage neonatal emergencies, respiratory distress, sepsis, congenital conditions and other complex neonatal presentations.
- Perform and supervise neonatal procedures according to clinical expertise and facility privileges.
- Lead resuscitation and stabilisation of newborns in delivery room and intensive care settings.
- Coordinate care with obstetrics, paediatrics, paediatric surgery, cardiology, radiology and other relevant specialties.
- Monitor growth, development and clinical progress and provide appropriate follow-up planning.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements

- American Board of Pediatrics with Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine certification
- UK CCT / MRCPCH with recognised Neonatology training
- European Board / national specialist certification in Neonatology
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian / New Zealand FRACP with recognised Neonatology training
- Arab Board
- MD / DNB / DM / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
