Role overview

Purpose: To develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications by delivering secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions while contributing to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications according to business requirements.
  • Participate in technical design, system enhancements, and application development activities.
  • Build and integrate APIs, backend services, databases, and user interfaces.
  • Resolve application defects, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure software complies with security, coding, and quality standards.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Support production releases and post-deployment activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices.
  • Keep current with modern development technologies and recommend practical enhancements.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field .
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with proven experience in enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in backend or frontend development , with good understanding of full-stack technologies.
  • Strong experience in API development, databases, and system integration .
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development frameworks .
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles, coding standards, security, and performance optimization .
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and technical documentation .
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting production releases and resolving critical application issues .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in Banking, FinTech, or Payment environments is preferred.
