About the Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its nephrology and renal care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Nephrologist to join its growing clinical team. The role offers internationally trained clinicians the opportunity to work in a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment with strong clinical exposure and a diverse international patient population.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte disorders, hypertension and other renal conditions.
  • Manage patients with chronic kidney disease and provide appropriate treatment and long-term renal care.
  • Assess and manage patients requiring haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal replacement therapy.
  • Evaluate patients for kidney transplantation and coordinate care with transplant teams where required.
  • Perform or supervise renal procedures according to clinical privileges and scope of practice.
  • Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • Collaborate with cardiology, endocrinology, urology, critical care, vascular surgery and other specialties.
  • Participate in clinical audits, multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Nephrologists holding recognised qualifications such as:

  • American Board of Internal Medicine - Nephrology
  • UK CCT / MRCP with nephrology training
  • European Board or recognised national specialist registration
  • Royal College Certification (Canada)
  • Australian FRACP
  • Arab Board
  • DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
