We're Hiring | Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join its orthopedic and trauma team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform a broad range of orthopedic surgical procedures within the scope of clinical privileges and expertise.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform post-operative follow-up and monitor patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Manage orthopedic trauma and acute musculoskeletal injuries as appropriate.
• Interpret and utilize relevant imaging and diagnostic investigations to support clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to junior medical staff.
• Participate in teaching, training, and continuing professional development activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery / Orthopaedic Surgery .
• Eligibility for or a valid DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant licence .
• Relevant post-specialization experience appropriate for Consultant level.
• Strong clinical and operative experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Current Good Standing Certificate and verifiable professional credentials.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
