  • 01: The Principal Engineering System Engineer will be responsible for:
  • 02This role is central to Woods continued digital transformation and ensures the IDT and business strategies remain aligned.
  • 03Is a trusted technology leader providing digital knowledge and expertise
  • 04Provides digital leadership across the Wood business aligned with business needs to deliver on their digital objectives and realise the expected
  • 05Record speech, music, and other sounds on recording media, using recording equipment.
  • 06Confer with producers, performers, and others to determine and achieve the desired sound for a production, such as a musical recording or a film.
  • 07Separate instruments, vocals, and other sounds, and combine sounds during the mixing or postproduction stage.
  • 08Regulate volume level and sound quality during recording sessions, using control consoles.
  • 09Set up, test, and adjust recording equipment for recording sessions and live performances.
  • 10Prepare for recording sessions by performing such activities as selecting and setting up microphones.
  • 11Keep logs of recordings.
  • 12Mix and edit voices, music, and taped sound effects for live performances and for prerecorded events, using sound mixing boards.
Required qualifications
  • — Well established industry reputation, typically 15 years experience
  • — Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • — Positive and practical with an ability to think strategically.
  • — Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • — Knowledge of business processes, data and IT systems utilised within an industrial and corporate environment.
