IT Lead - Quality Assurance

Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. In the GCC market, this role is actively hired across kuwait with 2 recent postings.

Key responsibilities
  • 01Understand Testing & Release requirements and lay down the overall testing approach accordingly
  • 02Hands on experience on UI & web
  • 03service manual validation & Test automation across the platforms
  • 04web, Mobile apps (IOS & Android) of digital/omni
  • 05channel market systems by following STLC process.
  • 06Leading the test strategy and collaborating with the QA manager to define and implement organization
  • 07wide quality strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • 08Support Defect triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure
  • 09Review and provide feedback on test cases, test scripts, and test automation code developed by QA engineers, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and quality standards.
  • 10Hands on experience on POS validation & Last mile delivery systems like fareye
  • 11Knowledge on SAP, SCM, Marketplace, OMS, PIM & AWS systems would be added advantage.
  • 12Knowledge on Database, performance & security testing would be plus.
Required qualifications
  • — Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • — 10+ years of relevant experience in QA / Testing roles
  • — Strong experience in Retail, POS, and E‑commerce systems, with exposure to PIM and SAP ERP
  • — Proven ability to create and execute Test Plans and Test Strategies
  • — on experience in defect triage, tracking, and closure
  • — Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with active participation in sprint
  • — Expertise in test automation, including tools and technologies such as: Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, and POS or similar platforms
  • — experience with SCM, Marketplace platforms, and OMS
