Key responsibilities
  • 01Procurement & Sourcing
  • 02Manage all local, regional, and international sourcing and procurement activities in line with client briefs and project
  • 03Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
  • 04Perform buying duties when necessary.
  • 05Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
  • 06Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
  • 07Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
  • 08Approve and pay bills.
  • 09Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.
  • 10Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
  • 11Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
  • 12Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Required qualifications

  • — Strong focus on Far East sourcing (China) for promotional items and custom production.
  • — Obtain and present minimum three quotations per job for commercial and quality comparison.
  • — Evaluate supplier quotations against technical specifications, timelines, and commercial requirements.
  • — Develop, issue, and manage Purchase Orders in line with supplier quotations and internal approvals. Production & Sample Management
  • — Coordinate local and international production of POSM, giveaways, and branded merchandise.
Preferred qualifications
  • — Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles. Strong Advantage
