Senior Infrastructure Engineer

  • 04active identification and fixing of potential incidents, backup management, etc. Participate in the definition, documentation, operation and continuous improvement of operational processes e.g. ITIL
  • 05call rota; ensure the timely resolution of incidents and/or problems affecting hosted solutions and deploy approved changes and/or updates as required. Further enhance the automation of hosting
  • 06related processes e.g. deployment of changes, deployment of new services, inventory management, security scanning, service level reporting, etc.
Required qualifications
  • — on experience with server hosting (e.g. data center) infrastructure and (ideally) management with Cisco UCS blades Hands
  • — on storage/SAN deployment and (ideally) management experience with EMC Unity, Data Domain, Avamar. Dell D? Hands
  • — on Cisco and F5 networking deployment and management experience with Cisco Nexus 7000/9000, ASA Firewalls, F5 LTM and DNS load balancers, route domains and contexts. Active Directory/Windows
  • — More Linux > Windows Hands
  • — on VMware deployment and management experience with VMware 6.x/7.x 8 Hands
  • — on Linux deployment and management experience with RHEL 7.x Hands
  • — principles and application Ability to support and develop junior colleague  
  • — & Experience Expert Level: Windows Server & RHEL administration, including core services (DNS, DHCP, AD, Clusters, and Satellite). AWS SysOps (VPC, EC2, RDS), VMware/Hyper
Preferred qualifications
  • — scale enterprise environment (Aviation or Travel sector preferred). Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps, RHCE, MCSE) are highly desirable.
