Key responsibilities
  • 01Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations and daily food preparation.
  • 02Supervise, support, and motivate the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high performance.
  • 03Lead by example in food preparation, cooking, and presentation across all kitchen sections.
  • 04Contribute to the development and implementation of new dishes, specials, and menu items.
  • 05Maintain strong stock control, assist with ordering, and manage inventory efficiently.
  • 06Enforce and uphold food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
  • 07Support staff scheduling, shift planning, and labour management.
  • 08Mentor and coach junior chefs to enhance their skills and career development.
  • 09Take full responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef when required.
  • 10Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • 11Excellent culinary skills with a passion for international cuisine.

Preferred qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
  • Diploma from a reputable Hospitality Management / Culinary school preferred.
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
