- 01Lift Planning & Engineering: Develop detailed lift plans and engineered drawings for complex and critical lifts, including tandem lifts, offshore lifts, and heavy module installations.
- 02Design Calculations: Perform structural and mechanical calculations for rigging arrangements, lifting points, and load distribution using engineering software.
- 03Technical Documentation: Prepare and review lifting studies, method statements, risk assessments, and lift procedure documents in compliance with international standards (ISO, BS, LOLER, DNV).
- 04Equipment Specification: Specify and select appropriate lifting equipment, cranes, rigging gear, and accessories based on load requirements and site conditions.
- 05Risk Assessment: Conduct engineering risk assessments for lifting operations and propose mitigation measures.
- 06Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all lifting activities comply with class society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyds), client requirements, and HSE regulations.
- 07Audit & Inspection Support: Assist in the inspection and certification of lifting equipment; review lifting gear certifications and test reports.
- 08Training & Mentoring: Provide technical guidance to lifting supervisors, riggers, and site engineers. Qualifications & Experience:
- 09Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Lifting Engineer in marine, offshore, or heavy construction projects. Proven experience in:
